Message from the Athletic Director

Hello Crusader family. I am truly blessed that God has called me to Mission Viejo Christian School, and I am very excited to be a part of an athletic program with such a rich tradition.

I look forward to meeting all the students and families over the next year, and I encourage you to introduce yourself to me if you see me on campus or at an athletic event.

At MVCS, our coaches strive to teach our student-athletes important life lessons, including teamwork, cooperation, dedication, discipline, sportsmanship, integrity, and a strong work ethic.  The athletics program strives to provide a safe environment for the student-athletes to maximize their God-given abilities in a competitive setting.

MVCS provides a full program of school athletics and participates in the Parochial Athletic League (PAL). Students in the 5th and 6th grades participate in the elementary division, while students in the 7th and 8th grades are eligible to participate in the junior high division.

In addition, we offer a boys and girls cross country program for grades 3-8 and a boys and girls track and field team for grades 1-8. Our seasonal teams are as follows:

FALL: Flag Football, Girls Volleyball, Cross Country, Cheerleading
WINTER: Boys Basketball, Girls Basketball, Cheerleading, Running Club
SPRING: Track & Field, Soccer, Boys Volleyball, Powder Puff Football

You can also look forward to our weekly “Crusader Countdown,” which will allow you to stay up to date with MVCS Athletics.

I know that, with the amazing Crusader spirit, which I’ve witnessed from the “visitors' side" in the past, we will create the type of winning atmosphere that will be pleasing to the Lord.

God bless,
Mike Margy
