Student Support Services

Academic Resource

MVCS provides a Resource program to effectively support students with minor learning challenges in collaboration with classroom teachers. Our full-time Resource Specialist is appropriately qualified to address learning deficits, primarily in the reading and/or study skills domains.

Our resource program is not a function of special education, and we do not specifically follow IEPs as part of our curriculum.  At this time, our resource program is at capacity.  If your child has an IEP or a 504 plan, please contact Admissions Director Vonette Carter at [email protected] or (949) 465-1950 prior to submitting your application to determine whether we can effectively serve your student at MVCS.

School Psychologist

At MVCS, we value whole-child development – academically, emotionally, physically, and spiritually. We desire for our students’ hearts to be aligned with what God tells us in scripture: Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind, and love your neighbor as yourself. Luke 10:27

Our full-time School Psychologist brings programs to each classroom, teaching relational skills and tools for communication, conflict resolution, and managing emotions through the lens of scripture. This Bible-based Social Emotional Learning is known as Whole-Hearted Learning at MVCS. Our School Psychologist also provides valuable assessments and meets with students and parents as needed to help navigate difficult situations and life events.
