Profile

Amber Brancato earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Liberal Studies and a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential from San Diego Christian College.  She also has an Associates's Degree in Liberal Studies Education from Cuyamaca Community College.  Right out of her credential program Amber began teaching in a long-term substitute role in first grade. The following year she moved on to teach kindergarten full time.  Amber joins MVCS from the San Marcos Unified School District, where she spent the past four years teaching kindergarten.  Becoming a teacher has always been her dream, she loves to educate children and thrives to be a positive influence in their lives.

Her favorite Bible verse is Proverbs 16:9, "People can plan what they want to do, but it is the Lord who guides their steps."  She shares that this is very meaningful to her because she tends to want to take control of the things in her life, but she is constantly reminded of His goodness and the plan He has for her.

Miss Brancato loves spending time with her family.  Her favorite hobby is playing soccer, a sport she has played since the age of five.  She has met many of her closest friends through the sport and shares that her love for the sport is a great outlet for her to exercise.  She also enjoys going to the beach, reading, bible study, and coffee!
