Lynn DeLong has 21 years of experience teaching in a Christian school environment. She is pleased to share that her students have earned the highest honors in various competitions, including at past ACSI Art Festivals, Wyland Art Challenges, and Los Angeles County Fairs. She earned an associate degree in Fine Arts from Citrus College.

Mrs. DeLong’s home church is Faith Community Church. Her favorite Bible verse is Galatians 6:9, “Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” This verse provides such encouragement for everyone. She loves to quote it to her students to motivate them. Her favorite quote follows this theme, “Don’t decide you can’t until you discover you can!”

Outside of school, Mrs. DeLong enjoys camping and hiking every chance she gets. She says, “God is so creative, and nature is some of His best work.”

Mrs. DeLong is married to her best friend, George. She has two sons, two stepdaughters, two stepsons, and two grandsons. One of her grandsons, Gavin Zdonek, is in 8th grade at MVCS.
