On Friday, November 15th, MVCS wore blue to participate in National Diabetes Awareness month. MVCS has a teacher and four students who have Type 1 Diabetes and it was our desire to show our support for them and raise awareness about both Type 1 and Type 2 Diabetes. We wanted to use this opportunity to educate our students on ways they can support others with Type 1 Diabetes and things they can do to prevent developing Type 2 Diabetes.
