Mission & Vision

Our MISSION is to develop Christ-like character and academic excellence in our students. By partnering with parents, church, and community, we are committed to equipping students to discover and fulfill God’s plan for their lives. MVCS trains students in a loving and nurturing environment where the Bible sets the standard in building servant leaders.

Our VISION reflects our VALUES.

Christ:
We believe an education rooted in biblical truth and the person of Jesus Christ has an eternal impact. All that we do and teach is from a distinctly Christian perspective. All those we hire, most especially our teachers, have an authentic personal relationship with Jesus Christ and serve as role models and mentors to our students.

Students:
We believe in our students and seek to serve them well by providing an exemplary education, one that is focused on the whole child, so that they might be difference-makers in every domain of society and ambassadors of Christ. To that end, we put the needs of students first, differentiate instruction with the individual in mind, foster a love of learning, and develop the gifts, talents, and leadership capacities of our students.

Families:
We believe in the family and the importance of parents in the education process. We are purposeful about creating a family-friendly environment that promotes genuine partnership and a caring community. We recognize that the transmission of a faith that endures for the next generation is a shared commitment.

Excellence:
We believe excellence honors God and is befitting of Christian education. We do not settle for mediocrity in anything that we do, most especially in our preparation of graduates who exemplify the best in terms of who God has made them to be. We pursue the best practices in education, as well as the kind of innovation that will enable our students to be a relevant voice in today’s world.

Wisdom:
We believe our students must be more than book-smart, they must be wise. Wisdom means that character and learning grow together, enabling students to navigate the world in which they live with the lens of a biblical worldview. To this end, we grow hearts and minds; we develop humility and generosity, and we promote compassion and courage through service.
