Profile

Vonette Carter is thrilled to continue serving at MVCS as the Admissions Director, having previously enjoyed eight years as the Music and Performing Arts teacher. She believes strongly in the value of Christian education and has personally seen and experienced the difference MVCS has made in the lives of hundreds of students, including her own children, Chad and Chanae now adults, who attended MVCS from pre-school through 8th grade.

Mrs. Carter graduated from USC with a BA in Journalism and is excited to use her Public Relations background to introduce prospective families to the school she loves.

For the past 27 years Mrs. Carter and her husband, Darryl, have been active members of Saddleback Church and Oceans Church. Her favorite Bible verse is 1 Peter 4:10, “Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.” This verse reminds her how uniquely God created each of us and how important it is to use our talents for Him. Her passion is to encourage others to find and use their creative gifts for good and for God.

Outside of work, Mrs. Carter enjoys dance, beach volleyball, pickleball, sunset walks, travel, and adventures with her family.
