Academics

MVCS serves more than 500 students in grades K-8, supported by a dedicated team of over 60 professionals. Our campus is designed to foster academic achievement, spiritual development, and physical well-being in a secure and inspiring setting. In recognition of our unwavering commitment to excellence, MVCS was honored with the National Blue Ribbon Award in 2024.

We believe the following components are vital to a high-quality instructional program:

  • Challenging Academic Curriculum: MVCS pursues the highest educational standards, complemented by the best curriculum available, and utilizes the most innovative and engaging learning strategies to enable each student to achieve his or her God-given potential in a positive learning environment.

  • Credentialed, Godly Teachers: All of our teachers are appropriately qualified with a state credential and/or ACSI certificate. Each teacher is a dedicated follower of Jesus Christ and is passionate about making a difference in students’ lives.

  • ACSI and WASC Accredited: MVCS meets and exceeds the highest standards in education as affirmed by our accreditation by the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) and Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC).

  • Biblical Worldview: Instilling a biblical worldview in our students is part and parcel of the academic process. Biblical principles are integrated into each and every subject so that students learn to see the world from God’s perspective.
