Dawn Rentrop » Profile

Dawn Rentrop has the perfect diverse background to maximize the power of MVCS’s Digital Learning Center for our students, teachers, and staff. She graduated from the University of Washington with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology while on a full volleyball scholarship. She also earned a Paralegal Certificate from the University of California at Irvine. Mrs. Rentrop was a litigation paralegal of 12 years in a law firm and in-house counsel for a major automotive manufacturer. She has coached volleyball on various levels for over 20 years. In 2005, she coached a local high school team to a CIF Championship. She also played professional volleyball for a couple of years.

In addition to being a smart, detail-oriented, team player, and team leader, Mrs. Rentrop loves the Lord and has a passion for seeing the joy of children when they are learning and growing. Saddleback Church is her home church and her favorite Bible verse is Proverbs 3:5, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.”

Mrs. Rentrop is married to her supportive husband, Rich, and they have a son who is in 6th grade at MVCS. The family enjoys traveling, outdoor activities, and sports together. She volunteers with Samaritan’s Purse and several other organizations, crafts, and continues to coach volleyball. In her spare time, Mrs. Rentrop has spearheaded the Battle of the Books (BOB) Club for our fourth and fifth grade students. We are excited to see this program grow and blossom under her leadership. Mrs. Rentrop also coaches our girls and boys junior high volleyball teams.
