Alisa Sheveland loves working at MVCS. She uses her past experiences, her education, and her love for the Lord to encourage students and develop life-long learners. Her previous employment included teaching first and third grades and tutoring students in all grades in both Christian and public school environments. She earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Liberal Studies, as well as her Clear Teaching Credential and Cross-cultural, Language, and Academic Development (CLAD) Credential from Biola University.

Mrs. Sheveland loves spending time with her husband, Rob, their daughter, Kayla, and their sons, Andrew and Blake. They are a sports-loving family, enjoying football, basketball, volleyball, and tennis!

Her favorite verse is Philippians 4:6, “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, present our requests to God.”
