Shelley Jacobsen has been blessed to teach at MVCS for many years. She has taught kindergarten, first, and second grade. She considers it a joy to daily encourage children’s natural love of learning. She received her Bachelor of Arts Degree and Multiple Subject Teaching Credential from the University of California, Santa Barbara.

Mrs. Jacobsen grew up attending Mission Viejo Community Church. Her favorite Bible verse is Psalm 23:6, “Surely, goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.” What an incredible promise!

She and her husband, Chris, are happily married and enjoy living in San Clemente. They have two wonderful daughters who have attended MVCS since preschool. Her favorite activities include: reading, ballet, walking and talking with friends, and playing at the beach with her family. "I love the Lord and I love teaching, and I am so grateful to have the opportunity to be able to do what I love."
