MVCS Athletics

The athletic program at MVCS provides an extra-curricular opportunity for students to develop their God-given potential and abilities beyond the classroom. As visible evidence of our school to the community, we desire to provide a program that is marked by excellence in its qualified Christian coaches, its focus on sportsmanship and Christian character, its reward for effort and hard work, and its commitment to integrity and fair play in the endeavor to be successful. (1 Cor. 9:24-27)

Our coaches strive to teach our student-athletes essential life lessons, including teamwork, cooperation, dedication, discipline, sportsmanship, integrity, and a strong work ethic. Most importantly, coaches teach our athletes to represent the God we serve in all respects. The athletics program strives to provide a safe environment for the athletes to maximize their God-given abilities in a competitive setting.

We participate in CALOC (Christian Athletic League of Orange County). In addition to our usual sports lineup, CALOC offers a strong, organized girls' football program. Students in the 5th and 6th grades participate in the elementary divisions, while students in the 7th and 8th grades are eligible to participate in the junior high divisions of each sport.

Our 2023-24 seasonal teams are:

FALL: Boys Football, Girls Basketball, and Cheerleading

WINTER: Boys Basketball, Girls Volleyball, and Cheerleading

SPRING: Track & Field, Co-Ed Soccer, Boys Volleyball, Girls Football and Cheerleading

Registration for all sports will be shared through our school app, ParentSquare. If you have questions regarding our athletic program, please contact Luisa Morgan, Athletic Director at [email protected].
