MVCS was founded in 1993 as a ministry of Mission Viejo Christian Church in Mission Viejo, California, with an initial enrollment of 48 students. Nestled in one of the safest cities in the nation, our school provides an ideal environment for learning and growth. From the beginning, our founding pastors and educators were committed to creating a Christ-centered, academically rigorous, and nurturing community where students could reach their fullest potential and fulfill God’s purpose in their lives.
Over the next 17 years, our reputation for excellence led to a rapid increase in enrollment, tripling our student body, which led to the need for a larger campus. In 2012, MVCS relocated its elementary and junior high school to a beautiful 11-acre campus featuring spacious classrooms, multiple playgrounds and blacktop areas, an expansive 5-acre field, and ample room for future growth.
Today, MVCS serves more than 500 students in grades K-8, supported by a dedicated team of over 60 professionals. Our campus is designed to foster academic achievement, spiritual development, and physical well-being in a secure and inspiring setting. In recognition of our unwavering commitment to excellence, MVCS was honored with the National Blue Ribbon Award in 2024.
