MVCS was founded in 1993 as a ministry of Mission Viejo Christian Church in Mission Viejo, California, with an initial enrollment of 48 students. Mission Viejo is consistently recognized as one of the safest cities in the nation, providing an ideal setting for our educational community. The founding pastors and educators were dedicated to creating a loving, Christ-centered, and academically rigorous environment. Their mission was to educate children so that they could achieve their greatest potential and fulfill God's purpose in their lives.
Over the following 17 years, the excellence of our program led to a significant increase in enrollment, which tripled, necessitating a move to a larger campus. In 2012, MVCS relocated its elementary and junior high school to our current 11-acre campus which includes spacious classrooms, multiple playgrounds and blacktop areas, an expansive 5-acre field, and ample room for future growth.
Todays student body exceeds over 500 students in grades K-8 and employs a dedicated staff of more than 60 professionals. Our campus is designed to support a holistic educational experience, fostering academic excellence, spiritual growth, and physical development in a nurturing and secure environment.
