From Jim's Desk
Dear Parents,
We have a busy few weeks ahead before Easter Break and I wanted to share a few things with you.
-Call to prayer- Michael Pacini is in need of our prayers. Michael, for those of you who do not know him, is the father of Ella Pacini who is in first grade. Please lift him up as you pray and ask God for healing.
We are looking for ways to support their family. One way is to provide meals for them, if any of you are interested please call Fran in the school office.
-A Praise- We have enrolled several new families for the upcoming school year.
-Good News- Santa Margarita High School sent information about our graduates. They state that all of the students from our school are performing well in all of their classes including honors classes. Many are in the 4.0 to 4.5 GPA range.
-A reminder - Elementary parents please do not allow your children to bring toys to school. Toys can be a distraction to classroom instruction. Junior high parents please remind your students that cell phones need to be stored in a backpack and should be used only for emergencies. Also, no iPod or mp3 players are allowed at school.
-A personal Note- I am looking forward to our speech meet on the 12th and the performance of our "Big Show" on the 18th and 19th. I am very proud of all of our students. They are a blessing to me and to our staff.
-A scripture- Acts 20:32 "So now, brethren, I commend you to God and to the word of His grace, which is able to build you up and give you an inheritance among all those who are sanctified.
In Christ,
Jim Downey
