      email:

Miss Astor has been teaching since 2008, this is her first year at MVCS. She graduated Magna Cum Laude with a B.S. in Education and a Minor in Psychology from the University of Southern California. She grew up in Mission Viejo and has lived in Orange County County all her life. "I love to read, dance, swim, and spend time with friends and family. Several of my family members are educators, and while in the Joint Educational Project at USC, I realized my passion for teaching young children, and influencing them in as many positive ways as possible." She has a strong heart for the Lord, and feels it is a blessing to be at a school where she can not only share that love, but where she can help young students learn about God and grow in their relationship with Him. She enjoys being creative and finding ways to make learning as interesting and engaging as possible. Her goal is to make the classroom an enjoyable place where students show respect, practice leadership, feel comfortable to speak their minds, and also listen to ideas of others. "I feel very fortunate to be a teacher here at this school, and am very proud to be a member of MVCS". Her favorite Bible verse: is 1 John 2:17 - "This world is fading away, along with everything that it craves, but if you do the will of God, you will live forever"
